Commercial sponsorship is essential in order to continue the mission of supporting and enhancing the quality of life for approximately 2,000 active duty and retired military personnel, family members, Department of Defense (DoD) civilian employees, and contractors at the U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground. As the winter home of the U.S. Army Parachute Team, the Golden Knights, YPG attracts more than 30,000 visitors from January through March of each year.
