Army Volunteer Corps
The Army Volunteer Corps (AVC) provides placement opportunities for volunteers based on interest and agency needs. Assists volunteer organizations with recruitment, training, and guidance for volunteer recognition. Joining the Yuma Proving Ground volunteer team enables you to gain valuable work experience while helping others. Volunteer opportunities are available and include but are not limited to; Post Library Chapel; Child and Youth; Heritage Center.
Volunteers are required to register through ACS and report their volunteer hours each month. There are organizations not required to register their volunteers and only report their volunteer names/hours (i.e., James D. Price School, Installation Volunteer Organization).
